Link: Screamsheets America Gestapo Edition (Media Madness)
Editor’s note: as I mentioned in the lengthy “Editor’s Note” section of yesterday’s link post, a recent permanent Twitter suspension has left me scrambling to retain readers and find ways to get new eyes on my work. As such I’ve been regrettably forced to begin posting links to any full-length (eight hundred words or more) article I post on other websites, here on ninaillingworth.com. Please forgive me if these posts create duplicate notices in your inbox, I’ve done everything in my power to fight billion dollar social media corporation censorship without cluttering up your emails but the bastards have finally forced my hand with this latest Twitter suspension. I should also mention that I’m still working on an extremely boring site updates post to explain all of the recent changes but it is admittedly slow going, likely owing to the mindbogglingly mundane nature of the material.
Today’s link comes from my Media Madness blog and takes a wider look at a number of recent articles involving ICE (aka the new American Gestapo) and why the media’s failure to properly connect these news items is objectively helping to facilitate the rise of overt, Americanized fascism here in 2019. As always, you can find my previous writing about ICE and fascism on our “Amerikan Music” links page under the Features section of ninaillingworth.com‘s top menu bar. You can check out the article by clicking on either the link, or the image below:
