Books about Neoliberalism & Austerity
A collection of books about the failures of capitalism, globalization, neoliberal economics and austerity. Although much of the material presented here by nature focuses on modern, de-regulated capitalism and issues like the 2007-08 Financial Crisis, international trade agreements and record levels of income inequality, you’ll also find numerous volumes about the historical roots of the western, globalized plutocracy we live under today. Please note that this section only deals with the monstrous activities of the creditor class and their sycophant lackeys in public office; those wishing to explore the history and philosophy of anti-capitalist and labor movements are encourage to check out the Marxism, Anarchism & Liberation Ideology Books section.
As always, books listed after the cut line are only worth examining if you account for extreme and (in my opinion) incorrect ideological assumptions. Proceed with caution or just skip them altogether.
